Below is a compiled ranking of 2026 IBDP results for selected international schools in Thailand, as a reference for students planning to pursue the IB curriculum in Thailand!
The top three schools are listed as follows:
Concordian International School Bangkok & SISB Pracha Uthit (Singapore International School of Bangkok): Average score of 37 points
NIST International School: Average score of 36 points
St. Andrews International School Bangkok Sukhumvit 107 (S107): Average score of 36.3, the highest in the school’s history
Please note that exam rankings are merely one metric for school selection and cannot fully reflect a school’s comprehensive strengths and characteristics. In addition, annual IB result rankings are subject to change‼ We recommend comparing the following key factors in depth:
1️⃣ Total number of DP candidates in the graduating cohort Some schools only select a small group of top-performing students to sit the IB exams, which artificially inflates their average score. Data from cohorts where all graduating students take the DP assessments carries far more credibility.
2️⃣ Overall score distribution of students Beyond the average score, pay attention to the proportion of high-scoring students and the overall diploma pass rate. Two schools with identical average scores can have vastly different teaching quality if their volume of high-achieving students varies greatly.
3️⃣ Long-term result trends over previous years A single year’s outstanding results can be coincidental; schools that maintain consistent strong performance across multiple years boast more reliable teaching frameworks.
4️⃣ University destinations of past graduates A high average score does not equate to abundant elite university admissions. Focus on the actual number of offers from UK G5 universities, top 50 US institutions, and leading Hong Kong universities to distinguish schools with strong pure academic scores from those with robust university counselling outcomes.
Therefore, students and parents should also weigh additional factors when choosing a school, including curriculum structure, campus facilities, tuition fees, residential location, and language support services, to ensure the school aligns with your personal needs and academic goals.
