NIST International School offers an international education for children ages 3-18, and is a fully non-profit International Baccalaureate (IB) International School located in Bangkok's busy business district, where all students are required to participate in community service activities to encourage compassion and problem solving. "This is an optional qualification that allows graduates to demonstrate their strengths in leadership, service and community involvement. In addition to rigorous academic studies, NIST offers students an extensive world language program and more than 300 options for extracurricular activities.In elementary school (grades 1-5), students use Thai as a language choice. In secondary school (grades 6-12), students have the option of Spanish or Mandarin. Other languages for an additional fee.
